Looking to buy a couple of Flip Front lids and after looking at quite a few we quite like the HJC R-Pha Max.

It is quite a bit cheaper than the Schuberth and Shoei offerings, feels good on the head and is well spec'd with removeable linings made from "wicking" meterial and good vent systems.

The only thing is will it be so great when on the bike, the front has a bit of play and I am worried it may rattle a bit in use, and is it really as quiet as HJC claim, my understanding is that flip fronts are normally quite noisy.

Any feedback appreciated

I guess not then :nenau

Gonna get a couple of these and see what they are like, price is OK and quality / fit seems pretty decent.

I`ve recently bought an HJC IS-MAX flip front from a fellow tosser and have up till now found it excellent, it`s comfy, does`nt rattle and it certainly does`nt appear to be any noisier with earplugs fitted than my other helmet which is a Shoei X1000.
As to value for money I`d say they are excellent.....:thumb

+1 on the IS-MAX.

Very comfortable and, as said, a bit noisier than my Schubert but less than half the price.

Special offer on at HG's now.
