Given how selective these errors you are getting are... you might have some connectivity issues (DNS, other) with your home DSL line.
Try using just mobile data or try from another wifi to rule that out.

just tried a different WiFi source plus tried mobile data , with no success

The forum has now made image changes , which have caused this .
No idea how to sort this other than abandoning Tapatalk

That is the solution.

There's no need to use Tapatalk with modern forum software anymore. It was created many years ago to act as a 'bridge' between websites and mobile devices but it's really no longer relevant and causes more problems than it solves.

Delete the app and start enjoying trouble free forum browsing from your phone/tablet

Yep. Tapatalk is trash for a number of reasons.

The mobile interface for the forum is very good!

I beg to differ . There’s too much visual distraction in the mobile app ; making it much more difficult to fast -read , which is where Tapatalk excels , with its simplicity .

Well, keep using tapatalk then and be thankful that it only displays some of the pictures now which is a feature (not a bug) as it further streamlines the reading experience without all the distracting photos getting in the way

Add your voice to the bucket full of ignored voices in the TapaTalk feature request vacuum asking for them to support the webp format.

Who knows, maybe one day they'll listen?

I get this regularly on my iPhone, I just go into settings and delete the e mail account then reinstall it. Yes it will delete everything related to the account on the phone but it will all come back when you reinstall it.
As mentioned you can always get to your emails via the browser ie direct from bt mail login.
