Apple friendly printer

I have a Brother MFC 620c, connected to an airport express wireless router. This allows wireless printing from a laptop, but you could have it wired. It's about 3 years old and was about €100 then. Works very well, and the ink is cheap!

Can recommend my Epson Office BX600FW - full multifunction with printer, photo card reader & screen, scanner with sheet feeder, fax (remember them)

Connect via WiFi, USB or ethernet - full mac drivers for print/scan integration.

Can get them for about £130, and a continuous ink system is about £30 or so on fleabay. Still haven't had to buy cartridges and have put reams and reams of paper through it (wife is a teacher).

Not photo quality like a 6-colour jobbie, but fine for printing text/web pages etc very practical and dirt-cheap to run.

HP Deskjet F4580 just bought it, £50 from Curry's and installed onto my MacBook with no hassles.

Not lookin for nowt Spectacular , but something that works well
at a reasonable price........

The hardware are all pretty reasonable in price .. it's the REFILLS that varies dramatically!!

I think Kodak ones has the cheapest refill prices. At least what they claim on QVC :rob

This printer is also wireless and I have it installed for wireless printing (O2 Broadband) using Macs :thumb

Wired setup was a doddle but setting up wireless was interesting :augie
