Just finished putting new paralever needle-rollers into the old girl and decided to take it for its MOT test. Rolled it onto the drive and engaged first gear, let the clutch out and......nothing. Tried second (don't know why!) and got the same result.

Am I really so stupid as to have missed the splines with the drive shaft????? After all of that careful lining-up as well???

Bu99er - got to go and strip the thing down again to see what is going on down there!

I know that feeling Spend ages doing the job carefully, put it all back together and then realize sumat aint right and it`s all got to come to bits again, bugger. Hope you work it out easily enough

I wouldn't do that .... did I ever mention the time you crashed your Suzuki T250J showing off in a car park

did the same myself spent age's doing it all slow taking my time, loads a grease,double check every thing, cleany rag, torque every nut start engine -1 st gear nothing- 2 nd gear nothing 30 second panic 2 minuite strip shaft not connected (felt like it did though) 2 minuite put back and roberts you mothers brother ,select 1st and go. 45 mins first go less than 5 mins second go.
