ARD panniers :bow :bow :thumb
used mine this weekend for the first time.:) [Llangollen]
first class product, whilst i was standing talkins burrucks outside a couple of members were comparing the water in the bottom of the 1200 ADV BMW panniers and later in the day had to give all my tissues to a certain scootish mod to wipe his water from one of his BMW panniers.
i can honestly say NO WATER in my ARD cases.:thumb2

Ard Cases.... Excellent

Was a recent trip to sunny scotland, and used my new Ardcases for the first time. :thumb2

As i`m not the greatest with a spanner, i obviously didn`t attached the panniers correctly to the rack  (since fixed correctly)

Anyway over on the isle of skye, pouring rain, and a little gentle breeze :eek:eek, one fell off... (didn't notice...) (i reckon approx 40 mph)

Luckly it didn't hit anybody and another tosser picked it up for me (thanks Wookie :beerjug:)

However, the point is, apart from a few skid marks, and corner scrapes, the pannier is still in good shape, no dents or cracks... and it didn't break open

Excellent product *****... good Job Roger :thumb2

That's bad news Dakar. How did it happen?

Did you have the mod that stops the pucks rotating or were the top bolts left loose?

I did have it, but hadn`t realised what it was for:blast:blast

The top 2 pucks worked loose, but 100% my fault.
Considering we went across to Cape Rath the day before, surprised they both didn`t fall off

Anyway, have now drilled a second hole, and used the mod to stop the pucks turning, and fitted lock nuts to all the puck. :thumb2

Iv'e got a set as well

Had my set for some months now, used a few times without any problems. dry as a bone inside. Placed some amalgamating tape to the frame in order to stop any potential rubbing of the pannier. Thanks Roger, nice guy very helpful with the fitting.:thumb2

Hi! I have a tenere like yours!!!! did you bought the paniers frame too? the y really look nice!!! p

Have used my Ard cases on two European trips and numerous UK journeys (trip is obviously a lot longer than a journey:eek) Driven through lots of rain (storms stair rods monsoon gales typhoons. often at speed. No water EVER in the boxes. They do what they say on the er box. Highly recommended. Roger is a damn good sort as well:thumb

ARD Case

Hi Nicholas
The boxes can fit almost any bike as long as you have a pannier rack to hang them from ! different colours available also , white and red would look good .
Kind regards Roger

Roger, superb cases!

I bought a set from you back in August last year (post #77) & although I went out for a brief ride with them fitted I only used them to full effect this month.
I usually tour with a top box but decided not to take one this year & I still had room left in the cases.
Your top loading cases are infinitely better than my old side loading varios. Loading & unloading was as easy as pulling a bag out. (large Asda bag one side & smaller Asda bag in the other case)

7 nights, 1200 miles, mated to Holan rails - couldn't fault them. (even filtering on the M6 carpark wasn't a problem )

Thanks. :thumb2

Is that Triumph (I think! could be a BSA :mmmm) really towing a Lambretta trailer?

BTW the ARDcases look great on the Airhead :thumb2

Val.

Is that Triumph really towing a Lambretta trailer?
Val.

Is that Triumph yes it is a 47 speedtwin really towing a Lambretta trailer No! it is towing a Pav40 trailor, built in czechoslovakia for use behind Cezeta scooters and Jawa motorcycles, but adopted by many riders across europe for camping at rallies.

Here you can see mine, although my one is a Pav41, and can be seen behind my 56 BSA M33
