This afternoon..Friday went to the local BMW dealer to talk over costs for a new 1150 GSA....then we came to the add ons.
The BMW crash bars was the first ,now have not seen the set up for this ..or are these the best on the market. Also there was talk of the case side rails...again BMW and if cases were added later are these the best.
Finally the BMW alarm system at £225.......and of course GPS at £1400 only jokin about the GPS ..it looked good but..........

one step closer Stewart

I was told not to bother with an alarm when I ordered mine as the imobaliser was just as good. Unless you are near your bike who takes any notice of other alatrms going of these day!

The BMW Navigator 2 is actually a Garmin 2610 with a few extra buttons added on the left hand side and a BMW logo. Garmin 2610's are currently available for around the £560 mark (although the list price is over £1100). So you pay £840 more for 4 extra buttons and a logo.......

The original Navigator (if you were offered one) is a Garmin Streetpilot 3, now seemingly discontinued by Garmin in the UK but still available from some places.
