Audio on a Quest

Having powered my Quest on the 1150, I am now considering the audio input. I have discovered that I could use a cheap set of speakers I got with a cheap personal radio.

As I always ride with ear plugs, I am considering buying a pair of noise isolation ear phones for about £25......the idea being I would have ear plugs with audio input.

Anyone else gone down this road, or any recommendations?

Spend the money and go for a Starcom Intercom system. You can plug and play your Quest, use an MP3 player, a PMR radio and talk to your passenger, all with the same system. You will find the initial outlay will be worth it in the long run.

Hi Mike,

I've got a 2610 which is mostly mounted on my GS through an Autocom. I can also mount it on my Suzuki and got Autocom to make me up a 2.5mm jack to 5pin din plug. (I have an old Eurocom setup). So on the Suzuki I have the 2610 plugged directly into the Autocom Headset. I can easily hear the unit with earplugs in up to about 120mph. So if you can get an autocom headset and a lead @ £15.00 this might be the way to go.
