I have suggested that we meet at Steam from 6.00 and sit down to eat at 7.00.
There is a pub nearby called the Walrus and Carpenter if people are early or want to meet "off site"

Austin vince tonight i was going on the train so i could have a drink. i am now going on my new bike any one know a safe place i can park it near the event. john

Lots of perfectly safe bike parking bays on the streets aground the City, many convenient for the venue.
There is a motorcycle parking bay next to / outside the venue, just oss Eastcheap (road next to the Post Office, opposite Hackett).
