Australia City Navigator upgrade ?

I've got a Australia City Navigator upgrade V5 for my V4.

I bought the original disk from someone on here - but how do i get the upgrade ?


Is it free or is there a cost ?

What unlock codes do i use ?


I bought the SP3 in the UK

If the original CNA v4 was registered on Garmins site the the upgrade will cost you US$125
http://www.garmin.com/unlock/update.jsp
If the product was not registered then it will get you to register it now and, as now is after the release date, the upgrade will be free.
If CNA was bought separately from a unit then it would have been registered when the unlock code was first generated.
The only way to know is to go thru the process and see if it asks for credit card details.

You will need the customer/coupon code and yes it will generate a new unlock code for the new version.

If you do have to pay then you might want to wait until May-ish for v6

What a bleedin' rip off !

Anyone got updated Sydney maps - seeing as thats all i'm worried about.

Could be a trip to EMule .............

The v5 maps will not work without a new unlock code (your v4 unlock code will not unlock them)

Wait for v6 then bite the bullet.
v6 will have better rural coverage
