My 1250 GSA is in for service and ive been given a 1300GS as a loan bike.
Have to say im pretty impressed, feel so light and chuckable on the road and the performance difference feels far more than the numbers woulds suggest to me.

Its a triple black with all the toys, including the auto lowering. I tell you, if someone figured out how to retrofit that system to the 1250 GSA id be straight in there. Triumph did it with the Tiger, it cant be that difficult to do.

I tried an Auto 13GS and didn't care for it.. Must go try again..

I know people have had issues with the adaptive ride height but 3 months and 3 thousand miles in, it's so good for me

I was told a few times that the 1300GS was a different bike to the 1250.....I now believe them

From what I've read, a lot of the issues, especially those with the adaptive ride height, are to do with the earlier bikes that had lithium ion Batteries fitted.

I have the 1300GSA with adaptive height. No issues so far (touch wood ;)).
Personally, I think the bike, overall, is an improvement over my previous 1250GSA in both handling and performance.

OK, some say it's fugly, I thought it was at first, based on the pre-launch pictures, but when I saw it in the flesh it grew on me.
I remember very similar comments about the 1150 when it first came out.

I have the lithium battery

The 1250GS I had before had a face only a mother could love, but I loved that bike

love this one more

Not at all convinced by the looks when the 13 GS came out, side on ok but the headlight, my feelings have softened a bit but I wouldnt say i like it though better in the metal.

The GSAs looks i find very challenging, im sure it rides brilliantly but i cant see me going for one of them. Probabaly couldnt afford it anyway.

I loved my previous 1250 GS too.

I’ve got the lowering device on mine, up to 6k+ miles ,no problems with it or any part of the bike so far !
Engine does sound terrible at standstill though, even worse than the previous 1250.

Love my 1300 with the auto height adjustment. Much sportier than the 1250.

6,500 miles since collection on the 31st of March and at the risk of cursing myself, no problems.

I have a GSA with 6000 miles on it with no issues. I also have the lithium battery fitted. Have to say although I was sceptical at first, there is clear water between the 1250 and the 1300 bikes.
