I have the 200 kit with the bluetooth dongle which is currently paired with my phone. Lovely.

I've ordered a Zumo 660 for when they come out in the next month or so.

The preferred connection metod for this setup apprears to be:
1. Connect the phone to the Zumo using bluetooth
2. Connect the Zumo to the Autocom using bluetooth for phone
3. Connect the Zumo to Autocom using cable for music/commands.

I don't plan to use the Zumo all the time, so when it's not connected i want the the phone to connect to the Autocom bluetooth.

The impression i've been given is that i'd need to re-pair (not just re-connect) the phone or zumo when switching - which is a PITA.

Is this correct, or am i missinformed. :nenau

TIA, Steve

Hi Steve,

You are spot on, as with pretty much any BT headset it can be only be connected to one device at a time so if you are swapping between the Zumo and the phone you would need to repair your dongle to the relevant device.

And the the Autocom bluetooth dongle is not like mine and my wife's car, where either i or my wife can connect to either car with my phone. But only one phone/car at a time. This does not require re-pairing, just connecting.

I was hoping to be able to have:
1) Phone connected to Zumo connected to Autocom
OR
2) Phone connected to Autocom

If the autocom bluetooth can only handle pairing for one device, can i connect the Zumo to the 200 through cables and keep the bluetooth for the phone->zumo or phone->Autocom?
