some people say iphone head phones with their controls work so I ordered an iphone to autocom lead hope it's not £10 down the drain.:blast

update

Just received part No:2194 iphone stereo phone lead and it was a success can make and receive calls. Now the draw back for some reason they only make it 400mm long which would mean leaving phone under seat so need to try and find an extension for the autocom end or the iphone end.

update

Just an update for anyone wanting to use an HTC Wildfire (assume other HTC phones are the same pin outs) used part number 2260 1500mm 4pole extension (male to female) this lets me bring a plug out the side of the saddle beside the autocom plug I then plug part number 2194 which has one end in my wildfire into 2260. Along with an app called Lazy Car this lets me auto answer incoming calls and in coming sms which are read out to me, I have also set it up to send a reply sms telling them there message has been read out to me but I am driving and will speak later. The app has a few niggles which I have posted on the developers site. App is also set to autostart when i plug in the 3.5mm jack so you don't have to go through a menu to start it. If anybody else is using this sort of app let me know so i can also check it out. Did not go bluetooth as I want to keep radio function.

Thanks for that PBO. I have an HTC Tattoo which is stuck on Android 1.6, they won't release 2 for it apparently.

I have used an Autocom Bluetooth adaptor with limited success, it auto answers and the call goes as expected but after that call the Bluetooth adaptor seems to lock up and no further incoming calls are possible until I cycle the ignition off and then on again.

Good to know that there's a hard-wire option that works, might try it out soon.

Although it works I wanted one lead which a company had agreed to make for me, but I decided I also wanted volume control so I have emailed them what I am after and will let you know if they will make it and the cost.
