Autocom and Phone Connection

Hi There

Looking to wire in my phone to my Active 7 Smart Autocom unit. The phone is an SPV Smartphone with a 4 pole 2.5mm jack in the bottom. What lead do I need to connect this to the Autocom unit and where can I get one?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Can't answer your specific query, but if you go to the Autocom website...

Click on "Autocom system examples" then "latest autocom brochure", you can download a .pdf brochure and on page 10 of said brochure there are various mobile phone leads described...

You can also email the guys at Autocom from the website, who I've always found to be very helpful..

We would need a wired headset that fits and works with the phone sending into us so we can adapt the headset into a phone lead for you as there are no suitable adaptors or leads we keep in stock.

GSRICH, i have the same issue. have one of these new htc smart phones, with a mini usb hands free. if i send the hands free in, how much would a custom cable cost. thanks

Any of the special build phone cost around £15 at the most mate, if you send us your headset let us know your full details, the comms you are running and also the phone
