Hi
I have an old Active-7 and with my new helmet / headset, I could do with some extra volume. I have done all I can with speaker positioning but need more volume from my Zumo 660 (both master and nav/music volume are on 100%) and bike-to-bike.
If needed, I am happy to spend some money on a new Autocom to get a significant increase in volume, so to the questions.
1) Do the newer units have higher volume output (perhaps via a volume control which I think I have seen) than the Active-7's?
2) Is the volume likely to be high enough to satisfy me, or it only slightly better?
3) which new unit is the nearest equivalent to the Active-7?
4) anyone got one in NE Hampshire (poss with a Zumo 660 cradle) I can come round with my helmet and try? Or could I ride to Autocom and get them to jury rig one up for me to try?
cheers
