I am having a Kit 300 Pro-Duo fitted by Ocean in Plymouth on Monday on my 07 GSA.

I have a Zumo 550 and an ipod nano for music. What is the best way to connect everything. A would also like the option to add a radio for bike to bike comms next year on a trip to norway.

If Ocean are installing have you not discussed the options with them prior to giving them the job.

Their man in the know was off when I booked it in, I am going to ring them tomorrow, but wanted some advice from the collection of experts on this forum first.

For the optimum set up I would recommend the below parts

1x part 1273 £75 (bluetooth phone dongle to connect the phone side of te Zumo)
1x part 1314 £28 (isolated music lead, this will connect the GPS and music side of the Zumo)

Your iPod will plug straight in with the music lead supplied with the Kit 300.

Bike to bike wise you have got the option of adding a Kenwood TK3201 or Midland G7 as and when all depending on your budget and how often the bike to bike is likely to be used.
