Bought Easi Advance 7 from another Tosser about two months ago. Installed and working perfectly. Suddenly however my feed is giving huge interferance. Tried wifes feed - no problem with either helmets - so must be an issue with my lead. Anyone had similar issue and help on how to reslove it?

It definitely sounds like a lead problem - probably something like a break in the earth shielding.

It wouldn't be too difficult to swap out if you had access to decent soldering kit, but if you're not into elastictrickery, I'd have a chat with Autocom about it.

are easy to replace, the leads are plug-in units...no soldering required..:D

Even better - a little light disassembly (the screws are probably under the label) and it's just a matter of swapping the leads around. If the problem moves, it's just a matter of a quick call to Autocom and Robert's yer Mother's brother.

In fact, it might just be a bit of corrosion on the contacts and the problem might be cured with a bit of contact cleaner. :thumb2

I followed said instructions...there are two terminal blocks inside. Turns out the interferance was been caused by the pillion feed block. Pulled both blocks out switched them around and the noise has gone!
