Hi,

I want to make an autocom install on 1200 GS '08 and a Yamaha FZ6 and I've a few questions. My requeriments are:

- 4 people speaking. 2 riders and 2 pillions.
- GPS tomtom v1 (both)
- Mobile phone - 1 Nokia N95 on GS and 1 Blackberry storm on FZ6
- Music from an Mp3 player (both)
- bike to bike.

And the questions :)

- Is it possible to have open communication permanently between all 4?

- The bike-bike com. is full duplex or we have to wait to speak?

- Is it possible to have a switch to open or close the communication between the bikes? if my wife has to complain I dont want that my brother could hear it :)

- how sould i connect the toys? I'm planning to buy a kit 300 duo and Kenwood walkie or midland G7

- What accesory parts do I need?

- the rider/passenger lead connector that remains on the bike. Are waterproof?

Thanks!

Hi Revin,

As you are running via PMR radios they only work on simplex which means only one bike can transmit at one moment in time.

For the privacy you can run a PTT via a Part 1457.

As for the kits the Kit 300's are becoming very low stock wise with our dealers and we sold our last kit over the bike show.
