I went to Autocom today to have them install the two headsets in our Nolan N101 and N102 helmets. In the end I decided to have Paul (GSRich's brother) install the whole lot (Autocom 300 kit) as I figured it'd take them less than half the time it would take me. While we checked out the cabling to the my helmet I decided that a bluetooth kit for my SonyEricsson K750i phone might be a good idea, so that was added, too.

On the way home I got a call from my wife while I was cruising at 80mph on the M40. Sound quality was good - confirmed by the caller. The iPod was automatically muted and came back on after about 5 secs after the call had finished. The iPod sounds very good and the sound level increases to compensate for the greater wind noise at higher speeds. Very cool!

The installation charge was reasonable especially as this really was a plug 'n play solution: everything works as advertised without any further fiddling - which in this day and age is a very pleasant surprise. Superb! Well done, Paul and Autocom.

Just fitted my 300 today too. Really delighted with overall quality. Was unsure when buying it given all of the cables. I was going to purchase a Scala rider but glad I made the right choice. 1 simple cable to plug in and you have Phone, GPS and MP3 player.
Adds to the already plesurable time riding a GS.:clap:clap:clap

Installed mine a week or so ago (Kit 300). Amazing sound indeed.
I ordered a Monster IEZclick remote control for my ipod (to fit that to handlebar and keep ipod stuck under seat), hope it will arrive soon.

Next step is exchanging my Kenwood LJ8 for a TH-K4E, but only after getting my licence.
