I have been looking at the Motorbike Adventures website which is very useful, for some devine intervention to cure a problem on my Autocom system.
I have an Autocom Active 7 Smart which has been a great unit and I have it connected to my Zumo 660 and voice prompts etc work very well (Loud and Clear). However the music played from the Zumo is really quiet and poor quality (the sound levels are max for music). If I use both leads of the Zumo into the Autocom through the isolated spliter (the black and red box) which was advised by a friend it causes background noise.
I can also connect to my Phone (Blackberry) fine and hear a person on the phone perfectly but the other person cannot hear me at all.
On the Motorbike Adventures webiste there is a new Autocom lead available specifically for Zumo which is lead 4066 - this seems to be for the exact same problem I have but for later models of Autocom.
i know this is a long shot but has anyone tried it on an Active 7 Smart with any success - if the lead was only a tenner I would try it and not worry if it didnt work but its a fair bit more expesnive than that.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks
Rik
