I have been using an Autocom for five years but only today realised that the volume control knobs work in the opposite sense to all other electronic gadgets I have ever encountered ie clockwise to decrease volume and vice versa - why would that be?
In fact, looking at fora on both sides of the Atlantic, I see many postings re "volume" issues and intense discussions about the correct siting of helmet speakers, adding inline amplifiers and other solutions. In many instances perhaps just turning that little green knob in the other direction is the answer? Or am I missing something?
