Me back garden... will have to keep my Helmet on in the bar (no smutty puns please) i can suss out the local night life an see who's playing in O'Hares or Diamond Pats usually a good band or two about O'Hares....and maybe get Chris a big mountain woman with the track of the welly boot still fresh on her leg

very handy 2half 3hrs to ferry from yours then crossing and an hr up the road and your there.... some nice scenery round here, Mountains ,beach, two forest parks good food pubs all within cple mile radius...sure you could always extend the stay a few days and do a good pub crawl....Whitewater brewery is only up the road (Clotworthy Dobbin)

been keeping an eye on this thread just out of interest, im working in paris so i wouldn't be going and i also don't know anyone lol

just wanted to say i got married in the burrendale in april and i couldn't rate the hotel high enough!!! the food is great with massive portions and the staff cant do enough for you. its in a great location with fantastic riding roads around it and walking distance from newcastle town so you can hit the pubs!

anyway im sure the local people on here know that but i just thought id say, enjoy your break
