I'm thinking of getting extra lights for my bike but the list of lights I've found is not very long. Can anyone add more to this list;
Clearwater,
Denali,
BMW,
Rigid Industries.

My intention would be to add the lights to make myself more obvious to other road users and of course more light 'thrown' down the road at night. To do this safely I'd need the option of being dimmed by day and full brightness whilst using high beam. I had thought only Clearwater would allow this option with the can-bus but now that the Hex Ezcan has been 'revealed' in this forum it opens the possibility to do this with other lights.

Yes, on the phone the site is not easy to work with, but as I said, on the desktop.

The combo driving light is 2 spots on the top row and floods on the bottom.

I really like the look of them, also saw so interesting testing on the lights. Running them up to full temp and then dumped into cold water. And due to the baja design they don't condense at all.

Wow, looking good, expensive at the moment with exchange rates not so favourable, anywhere doing a deal on them.?
Would be interested in a set.

From what I can make out there are different kits, I think the one with mixed spots & wide angle would be the one to go for..

I know you are after dual intensity lights but I thought I chuck my Denali DMs into the mix as others may like them.

I have these Givi Trekker fog lights fitted to mine.

They are fog lights so have a wide but flat narrow (height wise) beam.
The guys I ride with comment about how bright they are but not dazzling. I mount mine on the crash bars where they give a good triangle of light.

5000 lumens! each!!! madness, not sure I want to melt the cars in front of me! LOL

these are the ones I was looking at, work out at £187 for the pair without shipping or customs taking their slice.

Lumens: 1,800 Utilizing 4 Cree XP-G2 LEDs
Wattage/Amps: 20W / 1.4A

nice and easy to drive from the HexEZcan.

EDIT: just looked at a import calculator, and based on the the lights above, and a duty of 2.5% and throwing a shipping cost to £50 into the mix.
Customs would want about £60.

so looking at a total of around £300 (not cheap - but i guess you get what you pay for in the end)

I am very pleased with the Denali Lights. They are not the most expensive and the wiring kits are excellent and easy to use ! I fitted standard small Dm,s but they do more sophisticated dipping sets !

I like the size of these but being halogen they will draw fair bit more current than an equivalent LED (equivalent lumens). Did you buy the brackets separately as that is where I was thinking of mounting mine when I get them so there is less impact on the indicators.

The Givis come with mounting brackets, switch, loom & relay. Everything you need.

They use H3 bulbs but mounted in a different way to normal. This means the current crop of LED bulbs create a spot with no light at the centre. I had 35W bulbs on mine when I had them mounted on my F650 because of the power draw.
No problem at all for an R1200GS

Cheers Denalis already on the list and they look nice and neat too.

Something I have been wondering and maybe there is experience of this or this is simply a noddy question! If you fit LEDs in your house they have to be specified dimmable if thats what you want to do. With these LEDs for bikes are they all going to be capable of being dimmed, if for instance I use the Ezcan/wonder-wheel option or are only some of them dimmable?

These days you also have more options WRT the switch integration if you don't have the GSA or don't want the use the stock GSA hookups. Used to be only Clearwater had a "canopener" to integrate with the handlebar switches (and they require purchase of clearwater light package), but now you have several options independent of the lights:
- Smartswitch (search advrider gs forum, I have one of these, works well), or
- HEX ezcan (http://www.advdesigns.com/hexezforp...JeUXfdhJbMBdQwtmI1NrBodqGCWZeAte5yBoClmLw_wcB)
