Hi

Feeling a cockpit vacuum, (and the urge to indulge in some ferkling), that requires attention on my newly acquired GS(04) I got this item after reading about it on the forum. I wrongly ass-u-me-d the socket supplied would be a standard dimension akin to the ubiquitous car cigarette lighter ?

It is smaller though. Why ? :thedummy And in that case how can I connect e.g. GPS/ Mobile phone etc?

Thanks

You may notice that it's the same size as the power socket nestling by your left boot. Depends on how many items you want to use from the socket which route you take, swap the socket for cig lighter size, or put the same size plugs on your GPS etc, or use an adaptor lead, or a combination of the above (which is what I do.:thumb)

- since posting this I read about the elusive socket and I have yet to find time to play easter eggs. Got to be there I s'ppose. But, who uses this style socket, other than BMW?
