Currently on a 09 GSA and have additional power sockets by the winglets as a neat solution. Taking delivery of the WC GSA in March and wondering where folk have found to fit additional power sockets direct to battery (fused!)?
Also, if anyone has found a decent USB socket (not the cigarette plug in adapters) to use for phone / comms charging overnight when I am rough camping?
Thanks in anticipation of sensible and humorous responses!!

i use a double USB push in adapter into the front aux point and to the battery i have an optimate connector, this lets me use various leads to connect to that . When i go off i have a double USB lead connected up to it

Ok thanks Dave. Presume the intimate lead just hangs loose? I was looking to fix a second socket somewhere but from memory (I haven't got the bike into my garage yet!) I could not see an obvious fixing place such as the winglets on the air cooled.

Thanks Oilcracker - that is the best one I have seen, and should be at £40!! However, as you say it should be waterproof. Just need to find a convenient location for it......

yeah the optimate leads is not a fixed attachment. The one to the battery is, I use this in the winter for charing etc , then in the summer a few different type of leads can be fitted. I trail the USB under my pillion seat and store the phone there while it is charging and bluetoothing to my helmet.

google ultimate addons …they do all sorts of leads for charging up gadgets etc

I've fitted the SW Motech electric powered tank bag. (Day pack II). Tank ring wired into the 7.5 amp fuse under the riders seat using a piggyback fuse holder.

All my electronic's go in the bag, and all charge whilst riding.

Wallet, valuables and all electronics go in the tank bag. Pull the tab to release it, and it all goes with you and re connects when you ride off.

No one would've yet started body piercing as the machine will be under warranty :D Wait a few more months and I suspect the first of the body piercings will commence. :)

Thanks all - anyone come up with a good location to permanantly fix these - through the bodywork? Where?
