Auxillary Lights

I have heard that I can switch my newly mounted spots via the indicator cancellation switch on my 2006 1200GS... Can anyone tell me how this is wired up.. and what I will need to do it...

Unless you have HID lights, there are loads of reports of the autoswitch not working properly if you have HID's

It's only a trigger for a relay.so what lights running through the relay shouldn't really matter.

its nothing to do with the running of them. HID lights apparently put interference through the wires and its this that scrambles the Autoswitch.

Manual switch for HID aux lights not autoswitch

If you're using HID running lights then use a simple waterproof on/off switch descretely mounted on the cockpit to power the lighting relay rather than the autoswitch. Manual control, ignition logic maintained, much easier to fault find at the roadside
