Just found a problem with my front tyre. Tyres are about 1/3rd worn, not been used off road other than gravel lane to home.
Not been ridden over kerbs etc.

Near side and rear looking fine. If you are using the same have a close look at yours.

Tell Avon about it they have or had a good replacement policy.

For what its worth no bother with mine and i think they are a good tyre.

Thanks Pete, doubt that there will be a probem with Avon. As you say they are a first class road tyre.

FWIW, I liked Distanzias on the 1150GS and found them to be as good as Tourances for grip and wear in all weather conditions. I was happy to buy either when replacing, depending on what was in stock.

Again, FWIW, I'm currently on BT020s, but would be putting either of the first two back on as I don't think the 020s are any better on a GS and certainly don't last as long. However, I'm trading in for a 1200 in a couple of weeks so won't have to bother. No idea what that will come fitted with and neither have the dealership.
