Avon Trailrider review

I have a mudsling and Avon Trailriders. on centre stand feels to rub the mudsling, but once off centre stand and with a rider on board it does not rub. Its close on my 2015 GSA, but hasnt been an issue yet.

As long as it doesn't rub, that's the main thing :thumb

Based on my experience it will be very close unless diff GSAs have different dimensions on swing arms or mudslings are different sizes/shapes.

I'm guessing the TC and the LC must have different dimensions, I have a decent gap on centre and side stand and aboard the bike on my TC. Great tyre though, I prefer them to the Anakee 3.

I don't mind close, just as long as it doesn't rub.

Can anyone else confirm, please, before I get these fitted?

I have tourances on my hexhead only because they were on when i bought it in January as good as AK3's but quieter,
i will give the Avon's a go next time.

Had Anakee 3 on my LC and previous GSA, then went onto PR4 as my hearing got worse:shout, thought about the trail riders but spend most time on road so had Roadtec 01 fitted yesterday at 23526m.

My local tyre dealer GTC said I could buy a set of off roadie tyres and they could store them foc and only charge me for fitting when I need them on.

My PR4's, front gave me 14193 and rear 7240, one before that 6953 in case ones math's are rubbish........ So lets see what these do?

What mileage are others getting from their PR4's, and what do people think of the Roadtec 01?

Ref mileage on pr4, up to 9k on the front and 2 rears , one was just under 4400 the other 3600 and 2 mm left, after a trip through the french alps ,
the sides do feather a bit, using trail front and rear, mainly run on B or white roads,
Hoping the trailriders wear better, on the lc gs,
Allway had great results with the old tourances on previous gsa's, not tried the next,
Roamer

Cool will order mudsling and roadtecs when the anakee wear out.
I didnt want to waste money buying sling
Thanks prawnini

Just had these fitted to my bike. What sort of mileages are people getting out of a rear? I've just read on AdvRider that someone only got 3100 miles out of his

What the noise like Nutty? Have they got that Howell from the front?

I've not ridden the bike since they've been fitted, but according to everyone that has them, they are very good indeed.
