I have no connection to these guys but I'm on their mailing list and cut and pasted the following from an e-mail as I thought some might be interested
"As an antidote to the royal wedding fever we have devised a cunning plan, a day’s adventure riding in the Surrey hills.
We have mapped a ride that is 60/40 off/on road and suitable for big trail bike and adventure bikes.
All the off road sections are suitable for road or dual sport tyres, unless it really pours down on Friday.
The route takes in Dorking, Gomshall, Shere, Horsley and a few other smaller towns in the area.
The plan is to meet at Azcari Adventure Centre at 10 am on Friday 29th for a tea/coffee and very brief briefing.
A 2-3 hours of riding followed by lunch stop at one of the many pubs en route.
Lunch will be followed by another few hours of riding with the view to being back at Azcari by 4pm for light refreshment before heading home.
We will have our senior technician along for the ride with a full set of tools for any unexpected roadside maintenance.
We have several Husky demo bikes available for test riding after the main event and for those wishing to tackle one or two of the more demanding trails in the area on their own bikes,
we can arrange a second run for the late afternoon, subject to interest..
If this appeals to you please let us know via email by Thursday 28th if you plan to join us.
And of course if the minister of war and finance gives you a last minute reprieve , just show up at 10 am on the day."
