Well 1650 miles upto date from Mid September. Front brakes made terrible noise from day one when just comming to a stop or rolling with brakes just rubbing. Dealer cleaned and checked same with no change at the 600 mile service.
Now getting a vibration up through the front forks and bars as well as the noise.
Spoke to dealer today again they say BM know of the problem but no fix in sight. Also not many people complaining about this problem? Bike in on Wednesday for another look.

So please if you are having the same let your dealer know. The more that are asking may bring about a solution quicker.

Covered nearly 9K miles now and my brakes still squeal a bit but not something that bothers me. Not had any juddering whatsoever and considering I have had the abs fire up a few times on the front I would have thought it would have shown itself by now.

brakes

No noise at all from mine apart from the abs kicking in. I was practicing severe emergency stops on a course yesterday and the brakes were tremendous

Brakes squeal on heavy braking, immediately prior to coming to a halt. No vibration - 7800 miles.

Only said I was getting vibration not juddering?

However bike been back today front brakes stripped and cleaned. Does seem better at the moment ( 50 miles covered on the ride home ).

Got to give top marks to B/Bell Crewe tech noticed that my screen was a tad loose. Same rectified and even offered to wash the bike down for me. However due to the shxt weather and state of the roads I said it would not be worth cleaning.

Also coffee supplied while waiting. Thanks to the bunch at Crewe.

My rear pads were changed today at only 2,900 miles - wouldn't have lasted till the 6k service....anyone else have the same ?

Nope 9k miles and the rear still look ok. Find this worrying, my dealer Pidcocks Long Eaton haven't yet replaced any brake pads front or rear on a 1200. I have spoke to them about concerns expressed on this BB and they seem mystified.
