Hi All

Jennifer and I met some of you on a trip around Cornwall this past year and had a great day. Unfortunately I had to sell my F800GS in tough business times (plenty of work at a price but long payment delays and the cash flow problems that follow … some of you will know the situation).

Credit scoring willing, it looks like I am back with a 1998 KTM 990 Adventure in glorious grey. We look forward to riding with you all again!

PS If anyone needs a set of used but still very useable TKC 80s tyres for a BMW F650GS (the 800 bike) we have a set - contact me if you want them. Any offer considered.

I am looking for a set of the same for a KTM 990.

I wondered where you had got to. Enjoy the KTM, does it have a big enough tank to do an Allen rideout without refueling Ride safe and catch up with you later in the year hopefully

Hi Ross glad to see you are still in the country, I just thought you were being an unsociable B+++++D when you didn't pitch up for my ride out in September. I promised plenty of fuel and coffee stops to make up for Allan.
Like Andy I hope your KTM has the range required for the second half of Allan's ride out this spring.
I believe he is starting in Penzance this year and heading North!

I am so touched by all your comments

It is good to be back. I pick up the bike from Didcot (near Oxford) on Saturday. It is now a 2007 model with loads of extras – see a thread elsewhere on this forum. I look forward to riding with you all soon … I’ll be stopping every 140 miles or so to refuel.

PS If anyone wants that set of used TKCs for a F650GS 650 (800) just let me know and you can have them free - there has got to be someone out there with the bike that might use them sometime!
