Bad Hotel Black Forest

Just back from a long European tour and this place was the worst, food was just fit for a dog... if you like being overcharged then this is the place...and it's run by English........RUBBISH

I get down to the Schwarzwald quite a bit ... so thanks for that.

As an aside though, why on earth anyone should want to visit the Black Forest, or anywhere else on the Continent for that matter, and stop in a hotel run by the British defeats me

I have been in some very good Bad Hotels in Germany & Austria.

An excellent find..friendly, clean and very comfortable guesthouse. Great setting. Great location for skiing! Had a wonderful time and will definately be going back! Fabulous food and lovely hosts! Thanks.

Perhaps Jeff29 has lower standards.

Funny how the last 2 who reviewed the place were either in the self-catering section or ate out.

Post a review on Tripadvisor. This helps more people than a post here and the hotel may actually read what you posted and try to improve.

Try to include what actually happened and what was wrong rather then a simple blast.

No, as before we went to eat he said "I'm getting out of the hotel trade"

when we asked why, and this was his exact answer..."because I'm dying"

So we didn't bother to tell him the food was shite......
