Anyone got pics or useful info for fitting a bagster tank cover to an R1200 GS.....came with no instructions whatsoever, Doh!
Need to find best anchor points on bike for the bag attachments.

Perhaps Tucker should have mentioned that the straps seem long enough
to go right under the tank and that it's brand new so you can't see where
it may have been fixed down before.

Bit trial and error. Make sure you warm up the cover with a hair dryers before fitting and clean the bike "tank " thoroughly too. The sides of the cover fit under the two side plastics, the straps round frame tubes.

Best I can do - sorry.

:oonyack ( has anyone got a Welsh equivalent? Like something to do with a sheep? :D)

Just to clarify my reasoning for asking the question, common sense did tell me that the two holes at the front of the bag fit the retaining screws for the two plastics and the forward strap fits around the headstock.....doh, should have made it clear the issue was with the remaining straps and catches.
As Jay has already pointed out, the straps are quite long and may well fit right around the tank but to save the hassle I thought I would post here to get a quick reply from someone sensible who has already got the answer to my question?
Thanks for the interesting reply Timolgra, didn't really help with my query though.....:aidan :blast :aidan

A big thankyou Talonfs for the pics, has made fitting the bag a doddle and saved a bit of time and head scratching....
I see the moderator has been busy keeping the forum BM beginner friendly :thumb2. Fair play!
