I'm looking for a thin balaclava to wear under my helmet, the sort of thing you see Formula drivers wear. The problem is I wear glasses so I need to get the arms in after the helmet goes on.

At present I wear a buff but don't find it that comfortable worn over my head.

Does anyone who wears glasses wear a balaclava and if they do, can you recommend a make.

I have an EDZ one but you have a choice of various types, they are nice and thin and I am a speccy four eyes too

I could ask my Mother to knit you one, it would be grey and a re-knit of an old school jumper, very warm and a bit itchy. Top class snowballing wear too! :augie

I haven't dared mention it at home as my mother in law would run up a nice itchy number after tea :-)

Presumably the issue is that you wear a full-face helmet.

If you can't find a balaclava, maybe a neck warmer would work.

Just been to check mine, craghoppers polartec. It is a bit fiddly to get my glasses on but well worth it when chillier than normal:thumb

Try using ...

... a silk one, much thinner than other materials and comfy too ;)
