Banging

My 1999 R1150 GS had until recently been fitted with a Remus can (done by the previous owner).

I needed some proper panniers and acquired a 2nd hand pair of Zegas. I fitted the original exhaust and the T/tech extension piece that fits in the end of the can to prevent meltage.

The bike has begun to occasionally make some pretty loud bangs through the exhaust on throttle closure.

The reason for mentioning the exhaust is that it is the only thing I can think of that has changed since the bike started doing it.

How might I resolve this banging as I don't like it and I don't want the bike to do it?

Cheers

Check for air leaks in the exhaust system and make sure you fully close the throttle on the overrun, I like the odd explosion :D
