Everywhere and nowhere baby!
Anyone had experience of these. Either the ones that raise the height only or preferably those that raise and bring the bars nearer.

I need to know how comfort is improved and how they affect the GPS mounting currently located on the standard bar clamp.

What I'm looking to do is get the "up and nearer" ones and re-position the gps above the instruments.

Any thoughts on this are welcome.

Thanks, Skippy.

I fitted Wunderlich 35mm straight risers - work a treat for standing up work, esp with lowered fastway footpegs.

Standard bar fitting for Nav II is basically unchanged - IIRC I had to order the kit for the bar clamp mounted Nav II mount.

I have TT's risers - found them much better on a long run but still think the bars could be slightly closer to me

Undecided whether to get Nippys ' up & back' version or go the whole hog & attempt Tobers' handlebar mod

I've got Nippy's and they work superbly with my Renthal's.

With the standard bars they will definitely bring them up and back.

The Renthal mod is well worth it imho

Try the Nippy risers first. Worked for me and went on in 10 mins.

Tobers' Renthal job looked superb - but a tad technical, and you could always combine the two afterwards.

Thanks!

Thanks everyone.

The reason for the question is to make things more comfortable on my back having had a major "off" in Feb this year. Hoping to get back to the 1200 that's been sitting in the garage for the past 6 glorious months.

So, even more interested to know if anyone did the mod for that reason.

Thanks again guys. Skippy.

Nippy's Verholen risers are superb. They raise and bring the bars closer to the rider.. but you must re-route the cables and the hoses, which is a 5 minute job. Just drop the fork legs by releasing the bolt under the plastic cover on the triple clamp and re-route both hoses and both wires..

I've got the TT ones that I only put on for offroad trips where I'll be standing up a lot...

they are straight up, but since the h/bar mount is at a 6 degree angle they come towards you a bit, but nowhere near as much as NN's... I like the function, but the first time I used them the powder/plastic coating cracked and peeled off...

An option for you, other than TT, 34.99 I don;t know how that compares but delivery is quicker
