Hi all
just running in gsa and starting to enjoy very much. changed from gs 12 which did feel quite different to this beast (lighter handling but less planted at the front, but could this be the conti tyres - dont know, definitely prefer the screen though!)

Anyway, one thing I have noticed is a very slight wobble through the bars at certain speeds. Its not vibration, much lower frequency than that, and it disappears at higher speed, or at least i dont notice it. I'm thinking wheel balance may be out but wondered what peole thoughts were before raising at first service.

many thanks for thoughts.

I had a proplem about 5 years ago with a road attack on a fazer 1000 (front 120/70/17) with a kind of wobble turned out to be a manfactouring fault which Cnoti replaced. JJH

sounds tyre related..... Knobblies don't help... BT021's are far better...

Is the rear preload set high enough, otherwise the bike will be arse down and lighter at the front :augie

.

You don't say which Conti's?

TKC80's? :augie

it was the conti trail attack...i think.
the preload point is interesting. ive got esa on the 1 up setting so will try the next up (rather than try loose any weight)
nobody thinks wheel balance the culprit?..wil try the above and see what happens. thanks guys.

I had exactly the same on my ADV last year, 800 mls, wobble at 35-40mph, new Conti attack, problem solved.
