Brought this today, what a bargain these bikes are, 40k miles, good service history, new tyres, new C&S,top box, autocom, totally standard unmolested example.

It rides like new i'm well chuffed looking forward to getting out on it,its a long time since i rode a bike when you open the throttle and you are propelled forward so quick:eek:I will fettle it a bit cosmetically over the winter to bring it up to how I would like it.But roll on spring:thumb2064.jpg

That's one hell of a lot of bang for your buck :thumb2
Thats what I thought, whats not to like! I test rode one back in 99 loved it,but Suzuki where launching the Hayabusa so ended up with one of those.

The blackbird is a little tamer, but by no means a slouch and build quality is spot on with this, but saying that I saw my old Busa a couple of months ago and still looks excellent.

Being a 'Bird owner for the last 7 years I was "with you" all the way.....until " my old Busa still looks excellent.

It was the best looking Busa if there ever was one!! I certainly don't like the new ones

Guy at work offered me one last week , same colour/mileage with new conti tyres, a few scratches but said i can have it for £1500. Tempted.

Probably as low as it will ever go in roadworthy condition,I knew this one was up for sale a few months ago,But thought I would just keep an eye on fleabay etc to see what they were going for, just glad he never advertised it elsewhere its only covered 1000 miles in the last 4 years.
He and his missus have seriously got into road cycling and the Honda has just sat there doing nothing,so decided to let it go.:thumb2

Trivia - a Hayabusa is a hawk that preys on blackbirds. Suzuki's idea of a joke as the 'Busa is faster.

Prefer the Honda meself.
