Bargain Boots

I got second hand pair from a chap on this forum which I use on the bike - very well constructed and waterproof.

I recommend them, especially at that price (might get a back up pair, especially as they actually fit my feet).

Been wearing Grisport for years, walking boots, shoes (Dartmoor) and steel toecapped work boots (Contractor) . Instantly comfortable, good fit, well constructed and very reasonably priced.

I have a pair of their walking shoes. Excellent shoes, seem to be wearing well, nothing has come unstitched or failed in any way.
Pity these boots are showing as ‘out of stock’

As with many hiking boots, do you need to size up one size in Gripsport to allow for swelling on long walks and use of thicker socks? I've yet to find a hiking boot I can wear in my shoe size (currently wearing Inov8 G390GTX which have been great).

The Grisport walking shoes I have are true to size. I can wear thick socks without issue.

Jus bought a pair of inov8 Roclite Pro Mid GTX boots to replace my now worn G390 gtx versions. These were on offer wth Start Fitness, currently £119, instead of the usual £199 standard price. Only slightly heavier than the lightweight G390 GTX boots but with an improved sole and mid cushioning, ankle stability and support. I've considered the G390's to be the best trail/fell boots I've ever owned so looking forward to seeing how these compare:
