My Odyssey which was down at 4v having stood for too long has recovered and will hold 12.5v off the charger. Starts the bike OK too. The only question now is do I trust it long term.....probably not.

I recovered my battery by discharging it to 10V five times and measuring how long it took each time. By the 5th discharge and recharge my battery was recovered to almost 100%. It now rests at 12.8-12.9 V. You can use the headlight to discharge it. This was all done with Odyssey Tech Support's assistance.

I have done this too albeit just the three times. I had thought it was OK however, after a couple of days off the charger it's down to 12.1v. I've bitten the bullet and ordered a new one as I simply don't want the "will it or won't it" thought process going on in my head. For piece of mind if nothing else it's worth the £90.
Personally I don't see the point of paying out for the Odyssey when a top totty LiFePo is not a lot more cost. For me it would be a Motobatt at £60 or the super small no self discharge LiFePo.

Individual choice Bendy - it's a wonderful thing. It was my fault the Odyssey died - before that it worked perfectly every time. Paid £80 plus shipping from Tanya.
