Battery playing up?

I need a new battery for my '97 R1100GS - very sluggish turning over & ABS not initialising.

The battery choice is endless ! Anyone got any recent recommendations please ?

I bought a Fulbat from Tayna, very good battery thus far. Not one single ABS reset fault, spins the motor very well. Buy a gel, not AGM (Tayna pushes the Enduroline AGM)

I have an Odyssey AGM on my 1100GS. No issues over the last few years. Bike doesn't get a lot of use over winter, so goes on a BMW charger/maintainer for a few days every couple of weeks when it's not getting any use just to give it a quick blast. No ABS reset issues. Bike works as required over the summer when it gets used a couple of days most weeks. No summer charger 'top up' needed.
Probably jinxed it now though...

I used Odysseys in my Laverdas, and they worked well with upgraded charging. Maybe a better product, but the last two (I'm a slow learner) Endurolines gave a lot of ABS faults. I did read that the 11xx charging system is a little low voltage for AGMs, dunno how much truth there is in that.
