Morning all. My 2001 1150 needs a new battery, being a tight arse I was wondering if anyone had seen a decent deal or had any advice on purchasing please? I know the tech changes really quickly so I thought I’d ask rather than rely on old posts. Thanks

The Battery shop sell Exide Gel 19Ah 170amp (OEM original fit) for £89.
If I had to buy a battery for anything automotive I’d buy lithium. JJH

Don't get Tayna's Enduroline AGM battery, the terminals are not set down below the top of the battery.
I've used Tayna for 'Motobatt' AGM batteries for my past three GS's.
Another recommendation for Tayna, here.
Go to their website and do a search for your bike model and select the best Ah and CCA spec you can within your budget. Then go to their eBay store and search for the same battery as you get free delivery that way. Pick whichever option comes out cheapest and you’ll get it the next day…

total price seems to be the same from my experience on a couple of Exide batteries. therefore I bought direct from Tayna as a) they don't pay commission to Ebay and b) a direct sale has better protection if something goes wrong
