Got 450miles on my battlewings now (OEM with bike) and they were fairly crappy in the wet weather today. Should I expect them to get better? Tempted to swap them out for Anakees. In my experience, the BattleWings seem to take a while to bed in, maybe even 2-300mls, so get a few miles on them then set it all up, grip levels in the wet also seem poor in this initial running in period but they are fine one scuffed up.
. I'll salvage what mileage I can out of these and think I'll go for more of the same.Have fitted new Battlewings but have had to increase the front suspension setting asnd am having hassle trying to readjust rear to get it feeling right

They probably don't operate very well with the deep tread. I'll reserve judgement until then. Would rather have the Anakees though which are fantastic out the box albeit fairly shot by 5k miles. However, I think they do take a while to bed in as they didn't feel 100% until about 2,000 miles in.

Had a low speed blow out at work when I rode over a roofing bolt
and I just swapped the pair for Anakees - best decision I could've made. Life's too short to have tyres you don't get on with.
...Still looking for a roof rack for the GS![]()
