As someone who has taken part in past WTRA Rallies, I thought you should know that our next event is taking place on August 21st & 22nd. This will be a new ‘Big Bike’ Rally which will take place in the Crychan Forest, to be known as the Beacons 2-day Rally.

Although the entry regs and form are not yet freely available on the web site you can beat the crowd by following this link,

This together with the Cambrian Rally on 17th & 18th October will form a Club Rally Championship with awards to be presented at a social function at the end of the year. The Cambrian Rally will follow the same format of recent years with a number of laps of the forestry around Llyn Brianne reservoir over the 2 days. As with all our rallies, they are set up with big trail bikes in mind but are open to any road legal machine.

It is hoped to extend the championship to 5 qualifying days by inclusion of the Central Wales Auto Club event in Radnor Forest (details to follow).

Not sent off yet, as I don't know where I will be that weekend. If I'm free, I'll be there! :thumb

+1 Really want to do it, just gotta work out my work schedule...

are they still doing the "Big Bike Challenge" these days ?

Andy Cadney used to co-ordinate that, and I seem to remember him saying that business was getting in the way and he wasn't able to devote any time to it. Not heard anything since. :nenau

Bri,
When do you think you'll have the Ryedale results incorporated into your results - I can see if am even on the listing then ;-)

I've not had the results from the club yet even though they did promise to forward to me i've just downloaded them so might get them together for the weekend.

Brian (or anyone)

Would you know how the Dyfi rally compares to other rallies, ie, Hafren/Tarenig etc ???????????

Good news and bad

I have done the results for the UK Rally Championship
You managed to match your score at the Tarrenig
you need to be about 1 minute faster to get onto the championship results

I need those bits then ;-)

or a new bike. I'm working on the power to "weight ratio" by adding more power !!

All to play for then.

Just had my final instructions - I'm riding number 9

See you there.

Burt
