Hi Guys

out for a ride tonight and had a vibration coming through the pegs at about 4.5k rpm, checked for play in the rear wheel found I had some even with the brake on, so I pretty sure the bearings are gone but unsure what bearings,

is it the swing arm bearings
is it the bearing that connect the swing arm to the box the wheels attached to
or others ?

I've still to try tightening lock nut thing you can access through the rear wheel as suggested in a previous post.

So wheres the best place to get bearings is it the local dealer or else where ?

Any help would be appreciated as I'm off to Skye next weekend and I would like to take the GS.

it's the paralever bearings, check this out

now for my dumb question, I'm new to these bikes so bear with me.

the locknut and adjuster for these bearings, is this the nut you can see just behind the gaiter on the swing arm as you look through the rear wheel from the LHS ?

found it !

adjusted as per manual, all play in the rear wheel gone, will go for a ride later to check whether it stays that way.
