I ride all year as well, in fact my daughter has appropriated my car for the duration of her post grad teaching year so it's bike or hike for me.
This not being at the Green Welly when Klanky's not going isn't an attractive proposition. Will I give myself permission to skive off work in order to not be there? Toughie that.

I was riding mine yesterday. A little icy on the way to work at 7am and a little icy and white on the way home at 3pm. The link road from the M90 to Dunfermline was single track, 10mph and icy under foot.
Mind you, heated grips, heated seat, Streetguard 3 suit and daytona boots, I was cosy.
When I got home I had to get the wife to see me into the driveway though. Don't tell anyone!
