Belfast to the Alps

Hi All

I have been watching the posts over the last few days and waited to see what response we get, I am David and I am the club treasurer , I feel I have to make a comment on here to encourage you guys to get yourself booked on this trip.
Andy is a good friend of mine and I can honestly say he is a fantastic orginiser of trips like these , and I know when he sorts things out its done to every detail, and well sorted.
Him and I and another mate done a similar trip in 2009 to Bulgaria taking in the Alps and Stelvio pass and all the other countries on the way taking in Corfu for a 4 day stay.
Every little detail was sorted right down to insurance , border taxes, and toll gates ect, he even sorted the cooker in his luggage so we could pull of the road and cook lunch lol.
We traveled 5400 miles and went through 12 countries and the only problem we had was the front light on my GS blew and had to go through a tunnel using Andys tail light as a marker lol ( the tunnel was 11km long) seriously guys if you want a to be part of a fun , well orginised, and most of all safe trip this is the one to go on.

David (PS feel free to email me [email protected])

Nice to meet you today, see you again in June then in Geneva mate.

Update, after having a trail run at loading the trailer with a few bikes today we can actualy get another 2 bikes on, so thats 18 in total, if anyone else is interested in joining us just drop me an e-mail or PM.

"two places left"

as a certain person from the northwest might say, "anyone for the last few choc- ices".Should be an interesting trip and seems cracking value.
p.s. I know it is a howya saying

de crowe.
We only thought we would have room for 16 bikes on the traier so a couple of weeks ago we trailed it one Sat morn and maked it out on the bed of the trailer so thats how we now know we can fit 18 bikes on now ! No point in transporting fresh air when other guys may want to join us. :thumb2

This year's trip has been organised beyond belief..... The man's a genius!

I vote 2012 is to south of Spain.....then riding onto a ferry into Morocco
