Berghaus great service

So i bought a Berghaus Freeflow 30 backpack off ebay for £60
When it came it looked brand new and i thought to myself, this has never been used!

So i tried it on and it needed some adjustment, i went to adjust and one of the straps is broken, it has a little clip thats missing on one side.

I was going to go on ebay to send it back, but before i did i thought i would look online for a replacement clip.
While doing so i notice Berghaus do a FREE repair service?

So i contacted them and the clip needs sewing in, they have emailed back....

It is likely we can sew/attach a new clip to your bag.

All you have to do now is:

1) Package your kit, making sure it´s nice and clean so that we can get to work on it quickly. Be sure to include the details from your online request; name, return address & case number.

2) Send it to the below address using a tracked delivery service:

Berghaus make great waterproof jackets as well, I have had one for over 21 years, as good as the day I first got it, worn it a lot. Washes easily, light enough to wear as a daily jacket, with a fleece underneath in the winter, perfect.

Yea i have a Berghaus gortex over trousers and jacket, i keep them in my backpack when hiking just in case.
The trousers are the ones that can be zipped on the sides either down for airflow or up for boots etc.

Only got them last year, been really pleased with them, kept me dry in some awful weather.

I have had Berghaus products for years and years, yes you pay a premium for the product but the service and quality from Berghaus are first class. I recently had one of the pocket zip’s go tits up on my three layer gortex
jacket, I returned it back for their free repair. I had it back in less than a week, all sorted.

You can have cheap but it won’t be good or you can have good but it won’t be cheap.

I said something similar to the wife when i got the email from Berghaus.

When i bought the waterproofs she wanted me to buy cheap ones off Amazon and i wanted somethign reliable as i spend a fair bit of time outdoors.

A kind of "i told you so" was had lol
