Hoping someone has salready done the research.

I want a set of risers that bring the bars back towards me without raising them up too much.

i think i have your same query. i am quite tall but i still find myself reaching forward because my arms are stretched with the bars at full lock (slow manouvres of course).

looked at the ones on aliexpress, and tempted to get a set purely to try out the fit....not sure i would trust aliexpress aluminum over wunderlich or similar?

thanks

Rox Risers every time not cheap but will last fit years

I had Rox Risers on my Tiger1200 and got shot of them - was not at all happy with the way that they fitted, found them very difficult to get to all the necessary bolts. On my R1250GS, I've fitted the Wunderlich up and back risers and they have made the riding position perfect for me.

Wunderlich certainly worked for me. I didn’t need up so much as back The bike is much more comfortable now

Mine are CNC’d and anodised Chinese alloy. Only issue with them was the hidden pockets for the Allen bolt heads under the bars weren’t machined quite deep enough when clamping up the top clamps, I could feel the bars being nipped up on the bolt heads beneath. Easily fixed by grinding a whisker off the head of the Allen bolts to restore clearance.

Those look good, thanks. I like that you could tweak them to suit.
Have a look at Moto-CNC risers as well. Very similar style as Rox but a bit cheaper and UK based company.
I have them on my 1250Adv and have had no issues even after offroad trips (and coming off a few times)

Please be aware that you might have to reroute your clutch/brake lines depending how high and far back you want to adjust them.
I had to reroute mine but it is fairly straight forward if you're confident enough to drop the front forks (one at a time).
With my bars high and about 45deg set back, the stock lines are long enough at full turn both ways without lines pinching or pulling too tight. Complete free movement (y)

Late to the party but I have the Wunderlich ones and it makes a big difference. I think if I bought the Rox ones I'd be forever adjusting it :ROFLMAO:

SORTED Fitted the RoxSpeed 2 inch pivoting bar risers today. There was a bit of work involved in re-routing the cables and then fine tuning the ergos so my phone didn’t bash into my tank bag. I really like the amount of adjustability these bring. In the end I resigned myself to mounting the phone landscape.
