What is the best email address to use for privacy?

I see gmail are using more and more the contents of emails to try and flog stuff.

Is there a better email address than gmail, hotmail etc etc?

Get your own private email. Nothing is free in this world, you either pay up front or pay with advertising.

Use a private key encryption service

I use one via bt.com and don't get much spam through it and I also have a bespoke one, linked to the domain name of my business - however it gets more spam than the bt one

Go figure........
