I've just ordered the Touratech tool box and slime pump from NN and want a puncture repair kit to put in it. I've read good reviews on the Thumbs Up and Sealey kit but thought I'd seek some opinions on here.
Any recommendations ?

Stop and Go tyre plugger... look on e-bay, brilliant bit of kit. Got me out of the shit with a puncture on M1 last year.

Don't use slime if you have tyre pressure monitoring on the bike. Its not allowed

Just watch a couple of YouTube videos of the stop n go tyre plugger, is it really that easy to use ?

Used 'Stop n Go' twice(on different bikes) works well and very easy, no messing about, takes longer to pump up the tyre than to plug it.

BUT only good for nails / screws etc, won't fix a cut, carry some rat tails as well.

Stop n go...worked a treat last time I got a puncture....new kit...not used one before that...followed the instructions and after using my compressor I was back on the road in 20 mins....
When the tyre came off a few thousand miles later...the repair looked very professional from the inside :thumb2

Does the Slime pump run OK from the Canbus? I have a cheap 12v pump and it won't run off the bike.

The problem is that if you have a compressor that it too powerful, the Canbus doesn't like it and cuts the power supply. You need one that is "low and slow" like my Stop n Go mini compressor.

Not if you connect straight to the battery. I have a motopressor from rocky creek http://www.rockycreekdesigns.eu/tyre-accessories/motopressor-tyre-pump.html It comes with an SAE connection so I just plug it into the female SAE already connected to my battery which is usually used to plug the optimate into

Ok, but why not spend a couple of pounds to get a Triumph/Hella plug and go straight from the accessory socket. Less hassle.

Because its no problem atall me plugging straight into the SAE connection that's already there. Plus I CAN use a more powerful compressor :thumb2
